Knowledge Bank

This document builds on the SEPA Cards Framework that has been available since March 2006 and has contributed through the formulation of policy guidelines to setting the foundations for the SEPA for payments and cash withdrawals with cards.

The ambition of the present document is again to set foundations, this time for interoperability and gradual convergence of the technical standards which underpin the end-to-end card value chain.
