These implementation guidelines ( ) set out the Single Euro Payments Area ( ) rules for implementing the interbank ISO 20022 XML message standards based on version 1.0 of the 2019 Credit Transfer ( ) Rulebook, which takes effect on 17 November 2019.
The 2019 version 1.0 supersede the 2017 Interbank version 2.1 issued, with effective date 17 November 2019, on 28 June 2018.
An ‘Addenda and Errata’ document was published on 27 May 2019 which lists some further clarifications as well as a number of updates to these . Also, for additional clarification about the inquiry process please consult document EPC 131-17 v1.4 ‘Clarification Paper SCT and SCT Inst Scheme Rulebooks’.

XML Schema Definitions (XSDs) related to the aforementioned are also made available. Moreover, updated XSDs resulting from the aforementioned ‘Addenda and Errata’ document have also been provided below (Note: XSD files can be opened via a text editor (e.g. Microsoft Notepad) or XML Schema editor.)
