The Scheme Technical Forum (ESTF) is made up of the representatives of technical players who provide services facilitating the processing of transactions under the schemes. Members of this forum include Clearing and Settlement Mechanism organisations, technical solution providers and payment messaging services companies.
The ESTF held its seventh meeting on 12 October 2017. The approved agenda and minutes are available on this page.
During this meeting, the ESTF convened for the first time under its new composition of representatives from various technical players. There are still vacant seats among some categories of technical players. Application letters including an up-to-date CV in English should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The ESTF meeting appointed its second co-Chair amongst the ESTF members representing the technical players. The ESTF members were briefed about the role of the ESTF in the 2018 rulebook change management cycle.
The ESTF further discussed the scheme implementation status at that point in time. The ESTF also debated the position on the extension of the remittance information in Credit Transfer ( ) transactions, the extension of the character set in the and Direct Debit ( ) payment messages and the adoption of a newer ISO 20022 version for these payment messages.
