Steering Committee of the Mobile Proxy Forum: Summary of the eleventh and twelfth meetings (July & September 2017)

The eleventh and twelfth meetings of the Steering Committee of the Mobile Proxy Forum ( ), which focuses on pan-European interoperability of person-to-person ( ) mobile payments, took place in Brussels on 13 July 2017 and 6 September 2017 respectively.

The main outcome of the eleventh meeting was the approval to publish a Request for Information ( ) in order to identify parties interested in becoming a provider of the Standardised Proxy Lookup ( ) service. In view of the positive response to the - which was published on 17 July 2017 on the EPC website - the agreed during its twelfth meeting to start with the preparation of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide a service. The Market Implementation Working Group was invited to draft this RFP with the support of the Legal Working Group and Technical Working Group. In addition, the polling hierarchy logic was updated in the SPL service rules document.

The RFP will be published on the website before the end of 2017.
