The 2023 Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst) rulebook version 1.1 was published on 27 October 2022 and would take effect on 19 November 2023 at 03:30 CET.
The document EPC023-16 sets the maximum amount per instruction that would have been processed under the SCT Inst scheme based on the 2023 SCT Inst rulebook version 1.1. This document is referred to in section 2.5 of the SCT Inst rulebook and forms a binding supplement to the SCT Inst rulebook.
However, on 24 October 2023 the EPC decided to postpone the migration to the 2019 version of the ISO 20022 standard for all four SEPA payment schemes, from 19 November 2023 to 17 March 2024.
As a result of this decision, on 14 November 2023 the EPC published the version 1.2 of the 2023 SCT Inst rulebook. Version 1.2 replaced with immediate effect version 1.1 of the 2023 SCT Inst rulebook.
At the same time, the EPC published version 3.2 of the document EPC023-16. It replaced with immediate effect the version below of the document EPC023-16.
