The European Payments Council (EPC) is launching today a call for change requests for possible modifications to be introduced into the SEPA Request-to-Pay (SRTP) scheme rulebook v3.0. The call starts on 1 December 2022 and will run until 29 December 2023.

How to participate?

Stakeholders are kindly invited to submit their change requests via email to [email protected] by the 29 December 2023 close of business. Change requests received after the deadline will be filed and considered for the next maintenance cycle.

The template to submit a change request to the SRTP scheme rulebook v3.0 can be found in “related documents”.

What will happen next?

The EPC will analyse the legal and technical feasibility of all change requests received. To ensure that they are supported by a broad community, the EPC will organise a three-month public consultation around the end of May 2024. The change requests that received broad acceptance will be included in the new scheme rulebook which is anticipated to be published by November 2024.
