The EPC Scheme Management Board (SMB) – the body responsible for the administration and evolution of the EPC Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) payment schemes – is inviting interested parties to apply for a vacancy for an 'independent member', effective from 18 November 2020 to 28 April 2021, with the possibility of re-election. Joining the SMB means playing a central role in the decision-making process for enhancing SEPA payment schemes and ensuring they keep meeting end-users’ and technical needs.

This position is to replace one of the three 'independent members'. It means that candidates for this role should not be employed or be otherwise affiliated with an EPC scheme participant or EPC payment service provider (PSP) communities, service providers or a payment services user group or user association. For more details regarding the criteria for independent membership of the SMB, please refer to the dedicated profile document at the bottom of this page.

The structure of the SMB, together with details on the internal organisation, rules and processes are detailed in the ‘SEPA Payment Scheme Management Rules’ which are available for download at the bottom of this page.

Application letters including an up-to-date CV in English are invited to: [email protected] by 30 October 2020.

Kindly note that the present call for candidates is subject to the provisions of the privacy disclaimer available for download at the bottom of this page.
