Comments should be submitted using the related 'Feedback Questionnaire' (EPC116-11, see link below). This feedback questionnaire should be sent to the e-mail address email@example.com.
Stakeholders are invited to provide comments by 17 June 2011.
The European Payments Council () is committed to advancing a sustainable mobile contactless payments ecosystem through the delivery of implementation guidelines that promote an interoperable and flexible architecture. The Draft Mobile Contactless Card Payments Interoperability Implementation Guidelines are the 's most recent contribution to the development of this ecosystem. These guidelines will enable the quick development and implementation of mobile solutions by: promoting the use of open standards; clarifying the roles of key stakeholders; positioning the responsibilities of the in relation to other industry bodies and defining the adequate level of security for the whole mobile payment value chain in order to establish confidence in this environment. The final version of the Mobile Contactless Card Payments Interoperability Implementation Guidelines is expected to be published by October 2011.
