EPC Person-to-Person Mobile Payments Workshop Rescheduled to Early 2016

Due to conflicting agendas on 10 December 2015, the European Payments Council ( ) decided to postpone its workshop on Person-to-Person ( ) mobile payments. In order to gather as many relevant representatives of the mobile payments industry, it is rescheduled to 21 January 2016.

As a reminder, this workshop aims to facilitate the cooperation of existing and future mobile payment solutions, in order to ensure their interoperability on a pan-European level. It follows the Euro Retail Payments Board’s recommendations on mobile payments.

No further action is required from the stakeholders that are already registered, while other interested parties are encouraged to sign up

Payment stakeholders, representing organisations on the supply (including, amongst others, payment services providers and technical players) as well as on the demand side (consumers organisations for instance), are invited to participate in this free of charge workshop, which will take place in Brussels. The has retained the details of the registrants for the 10 December workshop. Other interested stakeholders can register via sending an email to p2pmobile@epc-cep.eu (by 7 December 2015), including a brief description of their relevant interest. The will get back to all interested parties to confirm their participation.
