The European Payments Council ( ) releases today an updated version of its recommendations on customer reporting of Single Euro Payments Area ( ) credit transfers and direct debits.

The provided bank-to-customer (B2C) recommendations allow for the uniform mapping of scheme rulebook requirements to the ISO 20022 cash management messages. Moreover, they complement the mandatory interbank and recommended customer-to-bank Implementation Guidelines.

The original document from 2009 has been revised to be in line with the latest rulebook versions. This updated version is now based on the interbank datasets, to ensure a more complete B2C reporting.

This updated customer reporting document aims to enhance further harmonisation within the B2C domain.
