The European Payments Council ( ) launches today an eight-week public consultation on a new draft document on the Standardisation of Quick-Response (QR)-codes for mobile initiated (instant) credit transfers (MSCTs ). This document standardises a payee and a payer-presented QR-code for all types of MSCTs, i.e. all payment contexts: person-to-person ( ), consumer-to-business (C2B), business-to-business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) while addressing both Instant Credit Transfer ( ) and payments.
How to participate?
All interested stakeholders are invited to participate in the public consultation by sending their feedback using the dedicated questionnaire (see “related document”) via e-mail to [email protected] by 14 April 2022.
