Today the European Payments Council (EPC) is launching a public request for information (RFI) for an Operational Scheme Manager (OSM).

Background

In the context of the SEPA Payment Account Access (SPAA) and the SEPA Request to Pay (SRTP) schemes, the use of application programming interfaces (APIs) created new challenges related to the reachability between participants. Therefore, for operating these schemes, new information needs to be managed and more data made available to participants.

These tasks form the role of OSM for providing and operating a Directory Service for the EPC schemes to enable the smooth functioning of these schemes, along with the EPC itself who remains the scheme manager from the governance and adherence point of view. Find out more in “Related document”.

How to participate?

Any interested, suitably qualified market actor can respond to this RFI via email to [email protected] by 21 April 2023 at 18:00 CET.
