Publication of guidance on the usage of ERI and updated recommendation on ISO 20022 customer reporting of SCTs and SDDs

As of the entry into force of the 2019 Single Euro Payments Area ( ) Credit Transfer ( ) rulebook on 17 November 2019, the scheme contains a new annex V describing the Extended Remittance Information ( ) option. The published today a guidance document which provides detailed information on how to instruct , including a number of practical examples. 

The also published an updated version of its Recommendation on Customer Reporting of SCTs (including and Inst) and Direct Debits (SDDs) ( core and B2B). The aim of this document is to present a mapping of the rulebook requirements vis-à-vis the ‘Transaction Details’ message elements of the ISO 20022 reporting messages. The version from 2013 has been revised to be in line with the latest rulebook versions and hence includes recommendations related to Inst as well as to the option.
