The Request-To-Pay (RTP) Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG) has been set up last year aiming to analyse and prepare the concrete and rapid exploitation of the RTP functionality from a broader perspective. Today, the published a guidance document called “RTP: Specifications for a standardisation framework” supporting further work on an RTP scheme.

The document defines the RTP concept, process and actors, examples of RTP use cases and their taxonomy. It also provides a foundation for elaborating a first release of an RTP scheme, including elements for basic RTP functions, actors and information flows, eligible standards, interoperability and security guidelines.
