Following the publication of the “Mobile Initiated Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) (Instant) Credit Transfer Interoperability Guidance” (MSCT IG) document, the ad-hoc multi-stakeholder group on MSCTs has conducted, through a newly established dedicated work-stream, a more detailed analysis on the technical interoperability of MSCTs based on payee-presented data.

During the past months, the MSG MSCT analysed the various comments received through the 8-week public consultation launched mid-December 2019 and prepared an updated version of the document reflecting as appropriate the changes requested.

This new document, which should be read in conjunction with the MSCT IG, focuses on the functional requirements to be supported by MSCT service providers to enable interoperability of MSCTs across SEPA. It also specifies the minimum data set to be exchanged between payee and payer to enable the initiation of an MSCT.
