SEPA Instant Credit Transfer consultation

The EPC payment schemes are updated every two years to reflect the market needs and the evolution of technical standards.

Current public consultation

Anyone interested in the evolution of the SEPA Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst) scheme can participate in the public consultation on the 2024 SCT Inst change requests from 12 March to 09 June 2024 closing at 17h00 CET.

Previous public consultation

An EPC payment scheme rulebook change management cycle had been organised throughout 2021 and 2022 and ended with the publication of the 2023 SCT and SDD rulebooks on 25 May 2022. 

In line with its commitment to transparency, the EPC published all comments received during the public consultation, as well as the position of the EPC multi-stakeholder groups on these comments.

Next EPC payment scheme rulebook change management cycle

The next EPC payment scheme rulebook change management cycle will take place in 2026. Stakeholders are invited to submit change requests to the EPC payment scheme rulebooks by 31 December 2025 by completing a dedicated templateThe received change requests will be considered for the rulebook versions and associated implementation guidelines to be published in November 2026 to take effect in November 2027.
