In November 2020, the European Payments Council ( ) published updated and enhanced versions of the Credit Transfer ( ) and Direct Debit ( ) rulebooks. To ensure planning security for all market participants, the publication of the new rulebook versions follows a predictable release management cycle.
The 2021 Instant Credit Transfer ( ) rulebook version 1.0 entered into force on 21 November 2021 at 08:00 CET and remains in effect up to 11 January 2022 08:00 CET.
Annex IV of the 2021 rulebook version 1.0 lists all changes compared to the version 1.2 of the 2019 rulebook.
