The 2021 SEPA Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst) rulebook version 1.0 entered into force on 21 November 2021 at 08:00 CET and remains in effect up to 11 January 2022 08:00 CET.
The document EPC023-16 sets the maximum amount per instruction that can be processed under the SCT Inst scheme based on the 2021 SCT Inst rulebook version 1.0. This document is referred to in section 2.5 of the SCT Inst rulebook and forms a binding supplement to the SCT Inst rulebook.
This document also gives the European Payments Council (EPC) the possibility to adapt the maximum amount per instruction under the SCT Inst scheme outside the regular payment scheme rulebook release management cycle as defined in the SEPA Payment Scheme Management Rules of the SCT Inst rulebook.
