Today the European Payments Council (EPC) published its clarification paper on the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Request-to-Pay (SRTP) scheme rulebook which can be found in “related documents”.
The purpose of the clarification paper is to provide guidance and, where feasible, recommendations to the SRTP scheme participants on matters that are not as such described in version 2.0 of the SRTP scheme rulebook, which was published on 30 November 2021.
Also, it should be noted that the clarification paper is a living document which will be updated from time to time once new questions and/or issues arise that need further clarification.
