The purpose of the clarification paper, which can be downloaded below, is to provide guidance and, where feasible, recommendations to the future Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Request-to-Pay (SRTP) scheme participants on matters that are not as such described in version 1.0 of the SRTP scheme rulebook, which was published on 30 November 2020.
With this additional clarification, the EPC aims to avoid a fragmented approach in the way the SRTP rulebook is implemented.
Also, it should be noted that the clarification paper is a living document which will be updated from time to time once new questions and/or issues arise that need further clarification.
