In 2021, the European Payments Council’s (EPC) Board entrusted the Scheme End-User Multi-Stakeholder Group (SEU MSG) and the Scheme Technical Player Multi-Stakeholder Group (STP MSG) with the mission to maintain a formal and regular dialogue between the EPC and representatives of associations of end-users of the EPC payment(-related) schemes (SEU MSG) and between the EPC and representatives of (associations of) technical service providers (STP MSG).
The SEU MSG consists of:
a) Up to five EPC scheme participant-related members, nominated by participants to one or more payment or payment-related schemes;
b) Up to 20 representatives of European associations of end-users of the EPC payment and payment-related schemes (Note: (associations of) participants to one or more EPC payment or payment-related schemes cannot be considered as representatives of end-users);
c) The EPC Director General.
The STP MSG consists of:
a) Up to five EPC scheme participant-related members, nominated by participants to one or more EPC payment or payment-related schemes;
b) Up to ten representatives of Infrastructure Solution Providers that have declared themselves to be a EPC scheme-compliant Clearing and Settlement Mechanism (CSM) by means of the standard disclosure letter which has been published on the EPC website (Letter EPC149-22);
c) Up to two representatives from major technical players active in multiple Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) countries or from European associations of technical players that have declared themselves to offer messaging services to EPC scheme-compliant CSMs by means of the standard disclosure letter which has been published on the EPC website (Letter EPC150-22) and are not already CSMs under point b);
d) Up to 16 representatives from other major technical players active in multiple SEPA countries or from European associations of technical players that provide services and products that enable the processing of EPC payment and/or payment-related scheme transactions or services, or offer value-added services in the inter-participant, the customer-to-participant or in the participant-to-customer space;
e) The EPC Director General.

Accepted SEU MSG and STP MSG candidates will be elected for a two-year mandate effective on 1 January 2024.

Candidates should clearly indicate the category of member they/their organisation belongs to, and whether they wish to apply for the role of Co-Chair of the relevant body they are applying for.
