The EDS is actually based on two sub-systems.
The first sub-system is the Identity and Access management part – referred to as “swift.com” – for user registration and user management. The second sub-system is the actual directory service (EDS).
The Identity and Access management on “swift.com” always happens on the production system, both to provide access to the production as well as the test environment of the EDS.
As of 24 June 2025, the EDS “pre-production” environment is available for testing. The expected date for moving to Production (Go-Live date) is 2 September 2025.
As of the Go-Live of the EDS on 2 September, both the test environment as the production environment will continue to co-exist.
