Additional panellists to be announced
As the demand for faster, more transparent and efficient cross-border payments grows, more European Payment Service Providers (PSPs) are seeking trusted solutions to satisfy business and consumer needs amidst an evolving, competitive and regulatory landscape.
The European Payments Council (EPC)’s upcoming webinar, OCT Inst in Action: Advancing Instant Cross-Border Payments, will explore the EPC’s One-Leg Out Instant Credit (OCT Inst) Scheme which represents a significant step towards extending instant payments beyond the Single European Payments Area (SEPA) and enables cross-border payments on a global scale.
Attendees will gain first-hand insights from European PSPs and market infrastructures currently processing OCT Inst transactions or in the process of launching OCT Inst Scheme-based services, with insights from the euro leg perspective including Ian Fannin from ING, with additional speakers to be announced.
Participants will also learn how institutions outside SEPA are leveraging the OCT Inst Scheme to enhance their cross-border payment services. Susan Yang from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia will give her views and experiences from a non-euro leg financial institution.
Moderated by Damien Godderis from BNP Paribas, the discussion will also explore key regulatory and industry developments, upcoming EPC changes supporting the continued evolution of the OCT Inst Scheme, and demonstrate how collaboration between PSPs, Clearing and Settlement Mechanisms (CSMs) and other payment infrastructures accelerates adoption and creates clear pathways to OCT Inst scheme participation.
Designed for PSPs, infrastructures and payments stakeholders, the webinar will present how OCT Inst can enable faster, more efficient cross-border transactions and how these actors can position themselves for this next phase of payment developments.
