About the EPC's public consultations
The European Payments Council (EPC) operates a regular, open and transparent change‑management process to ensure its payment schemes remain aligned with market needs and evolving technical standards. A central element of this process is the organisation of public consultations inviting stakeholders to comment on proposed change requests to EPC payment scheme rulebooks.
These consultations form a formal step in each change‑management cycle, with the EPC reviewing, consolidating and assessing feedback before taking decisions on whether change requests are accepted or rejected.
