The European Payments Council (EPC) is delighted to announce three new members joining the EPC as of 1 January: Bits, Revolut Bank and Wise. New membership is a testimony of growing industry interest in the EPC as a key player promoting standardisation, innovation in the collaborative space, and inclusivity within the European account-to-account (A2A) digital payments landscape.

Giorgio Andreoli, Director General of the EPC, says: “We are delighted to welcome Bits, Revolut Bank and Wise to the EPC. The participation of Fintech and innovative financial players further demonstrates the relevance of the EPC as scheme manager in charge for European A2A payments standardisation and management. This reinforces our commitment to harmonising payments throughout Europe and supporting initiatives that respond to the changing needs of the digital economy.”

As of 1 January, the EPC members’ count includes 83 payment service providers (PSPs) and European or National associations.
