Today the European Payments Council (EPC) has published the new versions of the SEPA Request-to-Pay (SRTP) scheme rulebook as well as the rulebook related clarification paper.
The SEPA Request-to-Pay scheme rulebook version v3.1
Version 3.1 of the SRTP scheme rulebook, includes some clarifications about the use of market APIs to ensure interoperability between the SRTP scheme participants and two additional datasets related to the redirect option, to be aligned with the related Implementation Guidelines (IGs) which were published on 3 March 2023. The effective date of this version of the SRTP scheme rulebook remains 30 November 2023.
Clarification Paper on the SEPA Request-to-Pay scheme rulebook v3.0
The purpose of the clarification paper is to provide guidance and, where feasible, recommendations to the future SRTP scheme participants on matters that are not described in the latest versions of the SRTP scheme rulebook.
