The purpose of the clarification document, which can be downloaded below, is to provide guidance and recommendation to the Verification of Payee (VOP) scheme participants and Routing and Verification Mechanisms (RVM) working on their behalf on some EPC Directory Service (EDS) date and time related configuration parameters and participants data.
The document explains the EDS configuration parameters “EDS cut-off time”, “EDS effective Date Time”, “EDS publication time”, and how they affect the updates to participants’ “Scheme Operational Readiness Date (ORD)”, “URI Start datetime” and “Option Operational readiness date”.
It should be noted that the clarification paper is a living document which can be updated from time to time once new questions and/or issues arise that need further clarification.
