The European Payments Council (EPC) is publishing this Request for Proposal to select a provider for a lightweight, off-the-shelf service supporting limited KYB-style entity information checks, alerts and data quality checks. The service should help EPC perform checks on legal entities applying to join EPC schemes, monitor relevant changes after adherence, and improve the quality of scheme participant data used for adherence, participant records and billing-related purposes.
The requested service should support checks on matters such as licence or authorisation status, EU sanctions, insolvency, bankruptcy or liquidation, relevant public authority actions, corporate status changes and key data fields such as legal name, BIC, LEI, VAT ID and address. The EPC is looking for a practical web-based service with email or other automated alerts, rather than a complex IT integration at this stage.
