The EPC Multi-stakeholder Group on E-invoice Presentment and Payment (EIPP MSG), created and coordinated by the EPC in response to an invitation from the Euro Retail Payments Board (ERPB)  (Terms of Reference EIPP), has finalised the documentation supporting the standardisation of a number of EIPP servicing messages.

In accordance with the step-by-step approach on the way to implementing the ERPB vision of a pan-European eco-system for EIPP, the MSG followed-up on the work initiated in 2018 with the adaption of the ISO 20022 Request-to-pay message to EIPP needs. In 2019 the MSG completed another part of this work with the request for standardisation of EIPP enrolment and activation messages (i.e. servicing messages).

A request for creation of the new corresponding ISO 20022 message set has been submitted by the EPC to the ISO Registration Authority and is now in evaluation process.

The report detailing the MSG work and proposed EIPP servicing messages has been delivered to the ERPB and has been published on the EPC website.
