The Scheme Technical Player Multi-Stakeholder Group (STP MSG) is a dialogue channel between the European Payments Council (EPC) and representatives of technical players who provide services facilitating the processing of transactions under the EPC payment schemes and payment-related schemes.

- EPC monitoring of confirmation message within certain timespans under the SEPA Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst), the use of SCT Inst at Point of Interaction (POI), prospects for and current obstacles for the further use of the SCT Inst scheme by payment end-user groups;
- EPC actions to promote the usage of structured remittance information in EPC payment scheme transactions;
- EPC promotional actions in 2026 for its One-Leg Out Instant Credit Transfer (OCT Inst) scheme;
- The performance of the Verification Of Payee (VOP) scheme, and the timeline and the change requests received for the 2026 VOP scheme rulebook change management cycle;
- The EPC update on the SEPA Request-To-Pay (SRTP) scheme;
- Impact of the future Payment Services Regulation (PSR) on the various EPC payment and payment-related schemes;
