The Scheme End-User Multi-Stakeholder Group (SEU MSG) is a dialogue channel between the European Payments Council (EPC) and representatives of European associations of end-users of the EPC payment schemes and payment-related schemes, such as consumers, corporate treasurers, e-merchants and retailers.

The main topics of this meeting concerned:
- An update on the EPC monitoring of Clearing and Settlement Mechanisms (CSMs) and of Payment Service Providers (PSPs) for the roll-out of the 2025 EPC payment scheme rulebooks;
- The introduction of the hybrid address format in 2025 and the end of the unstructured address format usage in November 2026;
- The EPC payment scheme adherence status and projections;
- The evolution of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Credit Transfer (SCT), SEPA Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst) and SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) transaction and r-transaction statistics;
- The prospects for and current obstacles to the further use of the SCT Inst scheme by payment end-user groups;
- The 2025 EPC promotion actions with respect to its One-Leg Out Instant Credit Transfer (OCT Inst) scheme;
- The steps taken so far by the EPC to submit a change request to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to foresee message elements for the commercial trade name of the payee and of the payee’s reference party in the ISO 20022 standard;
- The latest EPC updates about the Verification Of Payee (VOP) scheme and the EPC Directory Service (EDS) to support the functioning of the VOP scheme;
- The latest EPC updates about the SEPA Request-To-Pay (SRTP) scheme;
- The current and expected applications from third countries to become part of the geographical scope of the EPC schemes; and
- The upcoming re-composition process of the SEU MSG.
