In November 2025, the European Payments Council (EPC) published version 1.0 of the document EPC 205-25, giving a high-level overview of the One-Leg Out Instant Credit Transfer (OCT Inst) transaction processing timeline and message flows. This document is based on the current applicable 2025 OCT Inst scheme rulebook. It serves as a useful reference, for example, for developers implementing the various OCT Inst scheme procedures. The EPC will update this document whenever further clarification is needed.
