Brussels, 18 December 2024 – The General Assembly of the European Payments Council (EPC), a representative body of European payment service providers, has elected Gijs Boudewijn as its new Chair and Rita Camporeale as its Vice-Chair. The Vice-chair's mandate takes effect immediately and will run until December 2026. The new Chair will assume the role in June 2025 for a two-year term, during which significant changes are anticipated in the payments industry.
