The 2025 One-Leg Out Instant Credit Transfer (OCT Inst) rulebook version 1.0 was published in November 2024 and takes effect on 5 October 2025 at 03:30 CET.
The document EPC252-22 sets the maximum amount per instruction that can be processed under the OCT Inst scheme based on the 2025 OCT Inst rulebook version 1.0. This document is referred to in section 2.5 of the OCT Inst rulebook and forms a binding supplement to the OCT Inst rulebook.
This document also gives the European Payments Council (EPC) the possibility to adapt the maximum amount per instruction under the OCT Inst scheme outside the regular payment scheme rulebook release management cycle as defined in the EPC Payment Scheme Management Rules of the OCT Inst rulebook.
