On November 8, 2023, the European Payments Council (EPC) Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC) initiated a formal complaint following reports of alleged violations under the SEPA Direct Debit Business-to-Business (SDD B2B) scheme rulebook. These issues were deemed of scheme-wide importance due to their potential reputational damage and impact on scheme integrity. The DRC investigated reachability issues related to international transactions within a specific community and formally contacted all relevant scheme participants to assess the situation.
