Is it possible to set the Operational Readiness Date (ORD) in the EDS to a time before the VOP Rulebook comes into force (5 October) for testing purposes?

Consistently with the Rulebook, the ORD as set in the EDS and ROP may not be set at any date earlier than 5 October 2025 (the effective date of the VOP scheme).

PSPs (and RVMs acting on behalf) willing to “manifest” a technical readiness and an openness to start (multilateral) technical tests
(i.e. accept VOP requests), shall:

  • complete the EDS onboarding and updating step, and
  • properly configure the API endpoints (URIs) for testing purposes by setting the attribute “environment” to the value “T” (test) into the EDS with a start date which corresponds to their technical readiness date.
It is worth noting that if PSP wishes to configure the same URI (or a different URI) as their “live” URI (setting the “environment” attribute to “L”) the start date attribute of this URI can only be equal or later than the respective ORD date.
