The purpose of the clarification paper, which can be downloaded below, is to provide guidance and, where feasible, recommendations to the future Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Request-to-Pay (SRTP) scheme participants on matters that are not as such described in version 4.0 of the SRTP scheme rulebook, which was published on 29 November 2024.
These additional clarifications mainly relate to the registration in the EPC Directory Service (EDS), which is mandatory for the SRTP scheme participants. They outline the updated adherence process as well as the procedures for using the EDS.
Also, it should be noted that the clarification paper is a living document which will be updated from time to time once new questions and/or issues arise that need further clarification.
